Insurance inside an SMSF — Unlike industry funds, insurance is not automatically provided in an SMSF. Trustees must actively arrange life and TPD cover if required. This is an important consideration, particularly if you are rolling over from a fund that currently holds your insurance. Udo can connect you with trusted insurance partners who specialise in SMSF insurance and will review your existing coverage to ensure you're not left with a gap.

💳 Fee Summary & Acknowledgement

ASIC Corporate Trustee Registration Fee $611
This is a government fee charged by ASIC to register the corporate trustee company. It is paid personally by you upfront at the time of fund activation. Udo will fully reimburse this amount to you upon completion of your rollover(s) into the fund. It is not a service fee — it is a direct pass-through of the ASIC charge.
SMSF Establishment Fee $1,529 excl. GST
A one-time fee covering the full SMSF establishment process — trust deed, corporate trustee registration, ATO registration, TFN/ABN application, member setup, and bank account establishment. Invoiced upon fund establishment.
Ongoing Administration Fee $175/mo
Ongoing SMSF administration, compliance, annual return preparation, and audit coordination. Collected monthly via GoCardless direct debit from your fund's bank account. A catch-up fee applies at billing commencement — equivalent to the monthly fee multiplied by the number of full months the fund has been active prior to the first direct debit.
I confirm that all information provided in this application is true, correct, and complete to the best of my knowledge. I understand that providing false or misleading information may affect the establishment of my SMSF.
I understand that Udo Super Services Pty Ltd (ABN 25 609 900 745) will act as my SMSF administrator and registered tax agent. I authorise Udo SMSF to interact with the ATO and ABR on my behalf to establish and administer my fund.
I acknowledge that I have read and agree to Udo SMSF's Terms of Engagement and Privacy Policy. I consent to Udo SMSF collecting, storing, and using my personal information for the purpose of establishing and administering my SMSF.
I understand that as a trustee of an SMSF, I have legal responsibilities under the Superannuation Industry (Supervision) Act 1993 (SIS Act). I commit to acting in accordance with those obligations, and understand that Udo SMSF will provide guidance but is not a financial adviser.
I authorise Udo SMSF to request a $611 ASIC fee reimbursement upon fund activation, as outlined in the engagement terms. This covers the ASIC registration fee for the corporate trustee company (where applicable).
